Added images of Dr. Mudd's original hand-written medical graduation thesis on dysentery to the Source Documents.

The papers of Brevet General John Frederick Hartranft who served as the military governor of the U.S. Arsenal prison where the President Lincoln assassination conspiracy trial was held have now been added to the Source Documents.

I thought it would be good to start this new year with a new blog to keep visitors informed of activity on the web site.

We have now finished moving everything from our previous web site to this new one. This includes the latest major addition to the web site, the complete text of Nettie Mudd's 1906 book, The Life of Dr. Samuel A. Mudd, which is now out of copyright and in the public domain. See the Reference Library.
